SUMMARY

  • Transmission rate has dramatically increased and now the whole world will have to deal with the COVID19 maybe for about one year before we have a vaccine.

  • The lethality rate tendency keeps rising due to the fatigue of the healthcare system and lack of equipment at countries with a week infrastructure.

  • A rate of 5% or higher expected by May if the tendency keeps behaving in the same way.

NOTE:

Avoid comparing COVID-19 with other phenomena. This is a high rate of the contagious virus. If a mutation occurs, scenarios can become critical.

3 rules thal save your life.

The Basics

Virus vs Microbe

Take a VIRUS as a piece of microbe that needs your cells to grow. Think about genetic information inside a protein envelope that sticks to your cells.

A MICROBE has own reproduction properties without a third party.

The CORONAVIRUS is a VIRUS.

How long does it live on surfaces?

The COVID-19 is totally new virus so at the moment tests are being done, in order to understand the influence of temperature, humidity, and other factors.

How ever, these types of viruses normally live between minutes or hours, not days.

The recommendation is to wash/clean what you buy at the supermarket or any other places where the goods are exposed to eventual contamination.

Consider that this is different from the incubation period time. If you caught the virus it might pass over 15 days before the first symptoms appear. During this incubation period, you can transmit the virus to others around you without even knowing you are ill. That is the real danger of this breakout.

Is it easy to kill the virus outside the body?

SUPER EASY

YOU JUST NEED WATER, AND SOAP (if you have gel even better)

Transmission by contact

The problem is when you get infected by yourself

Did you kiss anyone?

Did you touch your eyes?

Did you touch your mouth?

Did you eat something with your hands?

These are common actions that we make all the time, without paying attention. That is why the WHO is asking us to frequently was our hands, because by doing it we decrease the risk of accidentally get infected by ourselves.

Air Transmition

The virus is spread by small drops when we talk, cough, or sneeze.

But only when one of those drops reach your eyes or mouth you get infected, otherwise, they will last for hours at your clothes, hair until they die.

That is why

  • We don´t get close

  • We don´t touch

  • We don´t kiss

  • We don´t hug

Social Distance

1 mt

3.2 ft

Social Distance is a term used to establish our security perimeter.

All the changes you will do, will be temporay

This outbreak will pass and normality will come back if you avoid being caught by the virus.

It would be such a pity to get ill just because we went "quickly" to the store, airport, etc

Think before you do something that can be optional.
